Warner Bros. has revealed the 4K release date for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One — the upcoming action-packed DC animated movie.

The new film, which is the first of three that will serve as the conclusion of the Tomorrowverse story arc, will release digitally on January 9, 2024. After that, on January 23, 2024, the 4K UHD version of the movie will release in limited edition steelbook packaging alongside the standard Blu-ray version of the film. These releases will also contain a wide range of bonus features.

It was also confirmed that Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two and Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three will also release later in 2024, though no exact date was specified.

“Death is coming. Worse than death: oblivion,” reads the movie‘s synopsis. “Not just for our Earth, but for everyone, everywhere, in every universe! Against this ultimate destruction, the mysterious Monitor has gathered the greatest team of Super Heroes ever assembled. But what can the combined might of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern and hundreds of Super Heroes from multiple Earths even do to save all of reality from an unstoppable antimatter Armageddon?!”

What movie was released before Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One?

Prior to the upcoming film, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation released Justice League: Warworld in July 2023. The synopsis for Justice League: Warworld reads, “After being kidnapped and transported to a strange world, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman unite to form a resistance and lead the planet to freedom.”

When announcing Crisis on Infinite Earths at SDCC 2023, DC also announced an animated Watchmen movie was coming in 2024. Created by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, and John Higgins, Watchmen was originally published in 1986-87. It was later republished as a single-volume edition in 1987.
